Dog Grooming for me, is more than just a vocation, it's a WONDERFUL PASSION

Even as a small child I knew I wanted to work with animals. My father saw this and encouraged me
in every way that he could. I was very lucky to have such an understanding and supportive parent like my father.He helped
me many times to either keep or find homes for all of the strays that I brought home, He taught me how to
care for every last one with love , respect, patience and compassion . This was to be the foundation
of my life and my future career.
At about age 21, I found my way into VeterinaryTechnician work that also included grooming ( formal
grooming schools were not common back then and often training was included in the technican and assistant
training).I loved all of it. I worked for years as a Veterinary Technician/Groomer, but realized after my second of three
children,that a career in just grooming would be better for my family .
I opened my own shop on the Weatherford Trafic Circle in Benbrook Texas in 1983 then moved it
to a larger location 3 years later on Williams Road and then moving it again to an even larger location at 8024
Camp Bowie West in 2005.
24 years in the industry ,still growing, and loving every minute of it.
When a loved pet prances out to greet their owner all happy and clean.it puts a smile in my heart a mile wide.
